About big tree water

Big Tree Maple began in 1993 as a father and son maple syrup project on the back porch of Lloyd and David Munsee in Lakewood, NY.

As the maple operation grew, transporting thousands of gallons of sap efficiently became essential. Maple sap is mostly water, and it takes more than 50 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of syrup.

In 2018, a larger tanker truck was purchased to transport sap. After maple season, that same equipment began delivering bulk water to fill swimming pools. The first season goal was 20 loads. We delivered 126.

Big Tree Water, LLC was formed in 2026, continuing the same commitment to dependable service and quality water.
